According to Trump’s camp, California is violated in the US law because the state allows transgender athletes to participate in girls’ series.
Thus, on Wednesday, the Trump Administration challenged the law of the California Ministry of Education and the state of high school schools.
The lawsuit states that the competition of transgender athletes in the women’s series is “not only illegal and unfair, but also degrading, and communicates to girls that their chances and achievements are secondary compared to boys.”
The action of the Trump administration is a continuation of the dispute that has continued throughout the first year.
Already in February, the President signed a decree that the competitive competition for women and girls in sporting events is prohibited. In California, Trans Athletes have still been able to compete in the women’s series.
In May, Trump was already threatened to withhold federal funding from California if it did not prevent transmaturists from competing in the girls’ series.
