The semi-finals of the DFB Cup season 2024/25 is: The only remaining subclass team in the competition, third division team Arminia Bielefeld, will be dealing in the round of the last four with Meister Bayer 04 Leverkusen. The second duel for moving into the final on May 24th in the Berlin Olympic Stadium takes place between VfB Stuttgart and RB Leipzig.
“There were three relatively difficult tasks that could come, and Leverkusen may even have been the most difficult,” said sports director Michael Mutzel in the “ARD”. “Nevertheless, of course we are very happy to welcome the Doubles winner here and are already really in the game and the evening and look forward to Leverkusen.” The two semi -finals take place on April 1 and 2. The final will be held on May 24th in the Berlin Olympic Stadium.
The largest outsider in the semi-final field is undoubtedly Bielefeld. If the favorite fright on the home Alm also beats sensationally Leverkusen, the Arminia would be the first third division club in the final since the 1st FC Union Berlin 2001.
