There was a rear-end collision between two cars on the A28 near Haren this evening. No one was injured in the accident.
The collision happened a few hours after a camper burned down on the A28 between De Punt and Haren. One of the highways was closed due to this fire. The head-on collision happened just in front of the matrix signs along the highway that indicated that a lane was closed.
The road surface was littered with glass shards after the accident. A military police vehicle drove through here, suffered a flat tire and was removed from the location by a recovery company.
