Buddhist monk (95) who popularized mindfulness has died

Buddhist Zen teacher, monk, writer and peace activist Thich Nhat Hanh died on Saturday at the age of 95 in Vietnam. Thich Nhat Hanh is considered one of the most influential Buddhists worldwide and the man who introduced mindfulness to the West. He wrote more than a hundred books on, among other things, meditation, many of which have also been translated into Dutch.
