Braun Büffel appoints Torsten Dörling as Head of Business Development International

Braun Büffel is focusing on international expansion.

The leather goods supplier based in Kirn, Rhineland-Palatinate, has appointed Torsten Dörling to the newly created role of Head of Business Development International, Braun Büffel announced on Wednesday. In the future, Dörling will work closely with Swiss Managing Director Friederike Salzmann to drive the company’s expansion and strengthen its global presence.

According to Kirn, the continuously increasing international demand contributed significantly to the creation of the role and the impetus for the growth strategy. Especially since the product range was expanded to include women’s bags, there has been increased interest from various countries.

“The expansion of Business Development International is a central step in our growth strategy,” says Braun Büffel Managing Director Christiane Brunk. “Torsten Dörling is not only very familiar with our products, but also has extensive knowledge of the global market – a crucial factor in achieving our international goals.”

Dörling is taking on his new role in addition to his role in the field service of the leather goods manufacturer in northern Germany. Before his time at Braun Büffel, the sales manager worked for the suitcase and bag company Delsey, according to his Linkedin profile. He is also the owner of the sales agency Heaven 7 Passion Trade GmbH.

“Taking over the management of Business Development International is an exciting challenge for me,” says Dörling. “I am pleased to help Braun Büffel establish itself internationally as a renowned brand in the field of high-quality leather goods.”
