DOW JONES–The Belgian business climate brightened slightly in November. As the Belgian National Bank (BNB) announced, the index rose by 0.9 points to minus 8.2. A moderate decline was recorded in October.
In November, the business climate improved in business services and manufacturing. On the other hand, the business climate in the construction industry and in retail deteriorated.
To determine the business climate, the Belgian central bank surveyed around 4,500 companies.
