Barça women will lose home for the first time in six years

Each series ends. The FC Barcelona players also had to find out after six years without league defeat in the home stadium.
After six years without a home defeat in the league, it happened: The women of FC Barcelona had to give up in Estatia Johan Cruyff 1: 2 (0-0) against UD Levante. It is the first defeat in front of its own audience in Primera División since February 2019.
The team around world footballer Aitana Bonmatí was dominant, but found no solution against the compact defensive of the guests for a long time. After a goalless first half, Levante surprisingly took the lead, Barça was able to compensate for in the meantime – but a later goal sealed the defeat.
For Barça it is only the second competitive defeat of the season. Previously, the team only had to accept a 0: 2 at Manchester City in the Champions League. Nevertheless, the defeat in the end of the league could still have consequences: pursuers Real Madrid now has the chance to shorten the distance.
If the Madrilenes win their catch -up game against Real Sociedad on Tuesday, they move up to five points to Barça – the title race could take off again. FC Barcelona currently has 48 points in the account. Real is in second place with 40 points.
