Attacks on Ukrainian railways tripled: “Russia is disrupting the country from within”

The Ukrainian railway network has become one of the main targets in the war with the Russians. Attacks hit stations, switches and bridges throughout the country, from the eastern front regions to deep inland. Train traffic is stopped, routes are shortened and staff work under constant threat. According to the Ukrainian government, the attacks are escalating and are part of “a broader campaign to disrupt the country.”
