18 million market value

AS Monaco has extended the contract of top talent Eliesse Ben Seghir by two years until 2027. The Ligue 1 club announced this on Thursday evening. The 18-year-old attacking midfielder made his debut with the Monegasque professionals at the end of 2022 and as a result increased his market value to its current peak value of 18 million euros.
In the current season, the French junior international only managed 32 minutes of playing time due to injury. Only 28 players in Ligue 1 had scored two goals on their debut à la Ben Seghir, none of them as young as Monaco’s homegrown team.
