Mrs. J. Schipper-Spanninga, Mr. HJM Besselink, Mr. JF de Groot and Mr. Prof. JCA de Poorter become Councilors of State in the Administrative Jurisdiction Division of the Council of State. The Council of Ministers has approved the proposal of Minister Bruins Slot of the Interior and Kingdom Relations to nominate them for appointment.
Hanneke Schipper-Spanninga (59 years) is director of Constitutional Affairs and Legislation at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, Hans Besselink (59 years) is a lawyer in environmental law and partner at law firm Pels Rijcken and Droogleever Fortuyn in The Hague and also a deputy judge in the Gelderland District Court. Jan Frans de Groot (52 years old) is a lawyer and partner at law firm Houthoff Coöperatief UA in Amsterdam and Jurgen de Poorter (47 years old) is a professor of administrative law at Tilburg University and also a deputy judge in the court of The Hague.
The appointment of Ms Schipper-Spanninga will take effect on the date of swearing in, of Mr De Poorter on 1 September 2022, of Mr Besselink on 1 October 2022 and of Mr De Groot on 1 January 2023.
