According to Just Stop Oil, four activists chained themselves to the stage with bicycle locks. “Valjean steals bread to feed a starving child. How long until we are all forced to steal?” the group also said on X, formerly Twitter. In a video of the incident, members of the public can be heard booing the protesters.

Just Stop Oil announced that the performance was stopped and the theater was evacuated. The director of the theater confirms that the audience was asked to leave the hall. “Unfortunately there was not enough time to continue the performance.”
London police say five people were arrested at the theater.
