32% of citizens in the province of Barcelona have already voted
In the Barcelona counties as a whole, in which 74% of the census vote, the number of voters was 31.94, a decrease of 3.18 points. In Vic, 28.97% of the voters went to vote (-7.78 points); in Manresa, 27.76% (-6.08 points); in Sabadell, 28.72% (-6 points). In Berga there was a significant drop in participation, with a fall of 7.9 points to 30.06%.
They also registered falls in Mataró, where 30.7% of those registered went to the polling stations (-5.84 points); in Terrassa, where participation has been 28.80%, 4.12 points less than four years ago (32.92%) and in Hospitalet de Llobregat. In the second most populous city in the country, 29.01% of the census have exercised their right to vote, 4.38 points less compared to 33% in 2019.
Also in Santa Coloma de Gramenet the participation has been lower than in 2019, with 31.61% of voters who have voted, 1.84 points less.
In Badalona, the third city with the most inhabitants in Catalonia, the fall was more moderate. In total, 34.69% of citizens have exercised their right to vote until 2:00 p.m., eight tenths less than four years ago (35.50%).
In Vilanova y la Geltrú there was a 31.12% participation (-3.95 points) and in Igualada, the figure was 33.8% (-3.75 points).
