The fire brigade was called out on Sunday afternoon to rescue a horse that had fallen into the water at a house on the Reedijk in Moergestel. The animal could not get up on its own.
With sturdy fire hoses and ropes around the horse, the fire brigade managed to get the animal out of the pond. The horse was uninjured, but shaken. A blanket is wrapped around him to warm him up. A vet checked the animal.
