It was claimed that singer Serdar Ortaç, who allegedly lost millions in gambling, received death threats.
Voice artist Onur Akay, known as ‘Disaster Tellalı’ in the tabloid press because of the death and illness news he announced, made a shocking statement about the famous singer Serdar Ortaç.
It was claimed that Ortaç, who came to the agenda with his gambling habit and therefore with the money and debts he lost, sold the copyrights of all his songs because he was in a difficult situation and received 1 million TL for a period of 5 years. It was also among the allegations that Ortaç sold the rights to the album ‘Best Of Serdar’, which is still under preparation, to Ozan Çolakoğlu for 200 thousand TL.
Famous artist Onur Akay, who said that he has very important sources from the politics, art and press community in Cyprus, said, “According to the information I learned from those sources, Serdar Ortaç was receiving death threats due to his gambling debt and took a loan on him. He also sold the copyrights of his songs. Serdar Ortaç lost 459 thousand 670 dollars in gambling.
Onur Akay continued as follows:
“He sold the copyrights to his songs, and when he ran out of money, he sold it to a businessman to gamble in his house. Although the songs remain under the signature of Serdar Ortaç, they will no longer be copyrighted for 5 years.
Wherever their songs are played, whoever sings them will go to the businessman whose money they are selling.”
Serdar Ortaç, on the other hand, said, “I owe a loan of 10 million TL to the bank. I owe my ex-wife Chloe Loughnan 600 thousand TL for alimony. I also spend about 500 thousand TL per month.” (Mail)
