Biggest increase ever: fortunes of the world’s 500 richest grow by 336 billion in one day

The richest people in the world benefited from the optimism in the stock markets on Monday. When the American stock markets closed, the 500 richest people on earth had seen their wealth grow by 336 billion dollars (290 billion euros). According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, that is the largest increase ever in one day.
