How can climate change be curbed? Politicians, scientists, economists and basically almost everyone who cares about what goes on beyond the navel deal with the topic. But the political ambivalence of the topic and its complexity make it difficult to have a say. This in turn is important so that democratic processes can be initiated in order to provide for the future.

It is important to the comic artist Christophe Blain to be able to react to the challenges of climate change. For his quite spectacular graphic novel project “Endless World”, he worked together with an expert on energy issues and climate change: Jean-Marc Jancovici.

With original pictures with a French touch, which are both explanatory and illustrative, with a necessary pinch of humor and the focus on a lively and critical debate about the not exactly easy conclusions to be drawn from the facts (which, Blain and Jancovici also realize, have serious consequences for society and social cohesion) succeeds in taking stock of a fascinating project that could unite or divide humanity.
