Singer Schmyt releases another single from his forthcoming debut album. And again he landed a German rap feature. In “Mach Kaputt” Schmyt sings together with OG Keemo about the longing for a new beginning, for which one must first release oneself from burdens. OG Keemo raps, “hold match and gas in hand (…) / and lose everything I care about in the flames”. And Schmyt also sings about the desire for destruction: “I’ll take the hard end, chase everything up.”. So pretty dark.

Vocally, the two artists complement each other perfectly. While Schmyt reaches filigree heights, OG Keemo gives the song the necessary punch. The Mannheim rapper is not the only feature from German rap on Schmyt’s debut album UNIVERSUM REGELT. So is on the love song “Everything different (less in the A****)” Cro, and on the title track of the album (“universe rules“) the Stuttgart Majan there. In the past, Schmyt was also featured on the arrest warrant track “neon sign‘ known to a wider audience.

Before his solo career, Schmyt was the singer of the hip-hop electro band Rakede, which broke up in 2020. His debut album UNIVERSUM REGELT is scheduled for release on May 20, 2022. The singer then plays two tours in a row. While the “Nobody Comes” tour is completely sold out, contrary to its name, tickets are still available for the “Autumn” tour.
