Borussia Dortmund and FC Bayern have recently been heavily linked with a transfer of top talent Kennet Eichhorn from Hertha BSC. Now both BVB and the German record champions are said to have made a far-reaching decision.

As “Sport1” reports, FC Bayern has withdrawn from Eichhorn Poker. A commitment by the 16-year-old midfielder was specifically and thoroughly examined at Säbener Straße. However, the financial conditions are said not to have appealed to the Munich decision-makers.

There are also sporting doubts regarding Eichhorn, who is considered one of the greatest talents in his age group in Europe.

Sports director Max Eberl was considered the driving force behind FC Bayern’s personnel efforts. The 52-year-old should now support the decision not to guide Eichhorn to the Isar.

“Sport Bild” had previously reported that BVB would probably no longer make any further efforts to sign Eichhorn.

Accordingly, the players are demanding a deposit of ten million euros for a contract signature – too much for the black and yellow, who are said to view such an amount as excessive.

Bundesliga competitor of BVB and FC Bayern still in the race?

Liverpool FC should still be in the race. However, the Reds have the problem that Eichhorn is still a minor and is not allowed to move to a country outside the EU.

Apparently they are currently looking for a loan club at Anfield Road where they can initially “park” Eichhorn.

Remarkable: Bayer Leverkusen should not be deterred by the XXL hand money, in contrast to its Bundesliga competitors from Dortmund and Munich.

Eichhorn has also been linked to Manchester City. Of course, the English runner-up faces the same legal hurdles as Liverpool FC.
