Trabzonspor Coach Fatih Tekke stated that it is difficult to recruit players as they want in the interim transfer and said that the efforts are continuing.
Tekke made a statement at the press conference held after the match in which they beat Istanbulspor, one of the Trendyol 1st League teams, 6-1 at Esenyurt Necmi Kadıoğlu Stadium in the 2nd week of Ziraat Turkish Cup Group A.
Tekke, who coached İstanbulspor for a while, said, “Being together with old friends again, playing football in this stadium, being here made old memories come alive. İstanbulspor carries unforgettable traces for me. It will always be in our hearts. There are many players from my era. I wish them success, too.” he said.
Stating that he did not want to talk much about the match, the experienced coach said, “I am not happy with the 11 vs 11 football played in the match. Our opponent had a lot of shortcomings, but they did not play as if they were missing. We should not have conceded a goal. We need to pay attention to these. I am tired of talking about the same things every week. We will immediately forget about this match and prepare for the first match of the second half of the Super League without exaggerating the victory. We will start the second half with Kocaelispor away. For us, the second half of the league is harder than the first half. “It will happen. We need to prepare for it.” he said.
Fatih Tekke stated that transfer efforts are continuing and said:
