The clothing supplier Maerz Muenchen KG was able to slightly improve its sales in the 2025 financial year. This emerges from a statement that the knitwear specialist, which is part of the Olymp Bezner Group, published on Monday.

Accordingly, sales in the last financial year reached 27.7 million euros, which corresponded to growth of 1.1 percent compared to 2024. According to the company, sales from the men’s collections increased by three percent, and an increase of five percent was achieved in its own retail.

According to the announcement, Maerz Muenchen owed the slight improvement in annual sales to a “clear trend reversal” in the second half of the year after sales in the first six months fell short of expectations. With the delivery of the autumn/winter collection, the company was able to “significantly increase sales compared to the previous year”.

Managing director Louis Bezner saw the recent upward trend as a confirmation of the company’s strategy: “The positive development in the second half of the year confirms our course and shows that the sharpened brand positioning is becoming more relevant in the DACH region as well as internationally,” he explained in a statement.

2026 will now be “a key year to sustainably anchor the brand development we have embarked on together with retailers,” emphasized Bezner. The aim is to position Maerz Muenchen “as a reliable premium partner in a demanding market environment”.
