Sarah Dzafce represented Finland in the Miss Universe competition. Pete Anikari
Miss Finland Sarah Dzafcen the moods are calm and grateful.
The finals of the Miss Universe competition held in Thailand are behind us. Finland didn’t get a place in the competition this time, but that doesn’t weigh on Miss Finland.
– I was completely myself on stage and that was the most important thing for me, says Dzafce.
Dzafce describes his experience as a big journey of growth.
– I have learned more about myself than I can imagine. About your own courage, limits and the light that each of us has inside.
Dzafce says he is proud of how he has represented Finland. A little girl from Kuopio on big and international stages, as Dzafce describes herself.
– I did it with my heart, honesty and my own genuine energy.
Heavy mornings
The winner of the contest was crowned Miss Mexico Fátima Bosch. Dzafce is happy about Bosch’s victory.
– He is so warm-hearted and genuine. He’s not faking at all. If his feet hurt, he walks here in slippers too. He doesn’t try too hard, says Dzafce.
Even heavy mornings have been accommodated in the race bed.
– There have been many moments when I would have liked to stay in the hotel and lie down. But when you have pushed through that thought, then you have an invincible feeling.
Next plans
Dzafce is supposed to be in Thailand for a while longer. Later, there will be further celebrations, where, for example, the winner of the continental category will be crowned.
Then Dzafce will vacation with the family until he returns to Finland on November 26. After this, things will continue as Miss Finland.
– Maybe I could join one of the reality shows. Dancing with the Stars has been one of my favorite shows. I love dancing and at Miss Universe I loved when I got to perform in the opening dance, says Dzafce.
Charity and educating young people who dream of becoming pageants are also part of Dzafce’s plans. In a couple of years, he would also like to write a book based on his own world of thought.
– I’ve been dreaming here on the way. Little by little, we start making each dream come true one step at a time.
Finally, Dzafce thanks for the support he has received.
– I can’t wait to get to Finland to meet Finns and see the joy on their faces.
