Chinese intelligence services are trying to recruit British civil servants and military personnel through fake job vacancies on LinkedIn and other professional networking sites. The security services of the so-called ‘Five Eyes’ alliance, a collaboration between the US, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, warn about this. The official warning follows after Belgium reported in March about possible Chinese espionage activities in our country.
