National player Jamal Musiala is featured in a star-studded promotional video from the sporting goods manufacturer Nike, with which the US sporting goods manufacturer is getting in the mood for the Football World Cup starting next week.

In the elaborately shot six-minute clip, alongside Musiala, greats such as Erling Haaland, Vinicius Junior, Kylian Mbappé and Cristiano Ronaldo conjure and trick their way through the studio sets.

The Portuguese is also made fun of in the video because of his advanced age. The 41-year-old sits at a table opposite basketball icon LeBron James, who is the same age. Both of them pass each other a script called “Goodbye of the GOAT’s” before Ronaldo suddenly storms onto the imaginary field.

Adidas also advertises

Adidas had previously promoted the World Cup with its own video. Argentina’s world champion captain Lionel Messi and Spain’s young star Lamine Yamal as well as former stars Zinedine Zidane, Alessandro Del Piero and David Beckham, among others, get in the mood for the XXL tournament.

The World Cup in the USA, Mexico and Canada begins on June 11th and ends on July 19th. Mexico and South Africa will play the opening game.
