Sargis Adamyan was the only one to have not found a new club that sorted out this summer. A possible change to VfL Osnabrück had smashed due to the financial claims of the 32-year-old. After that, there was “nothing concrete”, as the technical director Lukas Berg now explained to the “Geissblog”.

Accordingly, the attacker will continue to keep fit with the U21 of the billy goats, but has not yet been used in competitive games. “Sargis is further here, continues to train with the U21. And he does that, you have to say that well and professional. This is also a decisive factor for us,” said Berg. During the transfer period, those responsible had put a stop at the regional league. However, this could change.

“If everything has calmed down, we’ll rate it again. I would not rule it out,” said Berg about Adamyan’s possible competitive return, but also restricted: “In principle, it does not fit into the concept with our young players that older players block the places. That would have to fit and be sensible.” A first note: In the test game of the U21 last Thursday against Siegburger SV (4-0), Adamyan had confessed to FC’s starting eleven.

Learst Pacarada was one of the professionals who were sorted out at the 1st FC Köln this summer and left the club. After he was no longer allowed to take part in team training, the left -back switched to 1. FC Heidenheim.

In conversation with the “Heidenheimer Zeitung” Pacarada now explained: “Football can be very nice, but can also be horrible. I am old enough to deal with it.” Regarding his booting on the Geißbockheim, he added: “It was then inevitable to go from FC. That everything worked out so quickly, with such a good solution – I’m very happy about that.” Due to the transfer to Heidenheim, Pacarada remains in the Bundesliga.
