Olympique Marseille has strongly reinforced the squad in the transfer sprint. After Benjamin Pavard (29) and Emerson (31) were already presented on Deadline Day, central defender Nayef Aguerd (29) and midfielder Matt O’Riley (24) followed the next day. Shortly before the Deadline Day, Arthur Vermeeren (20) and Hamed Traoré (25) had already been signed.

Aguerd returns three years after moving from Stade Rennes to West Ham to Ligue 1. The transfer for the Moroccan international, who was awarded to Real Sociedad last season, is said to amount to EUR 23 million.
