Jessica Pegula has reached the quarterfinals on the US Open. The fourth-placed American won on Flushing Meadows in two sets of her compatriot Ann Li: 6-1 6-2.
The 31-year-old Pegula lost the final in New York of Aryna Sabalenka from Belarus last year. She made few mistakes against Li, the number 58 of the WTA ranking.
