The criminals who have captured the medical data of hundreds of thousands of participants of the national population screening are still in danger of publishing that data. That says the Hackers group Nova on its site on the Dark Web. They set an ultimatum to the laboratory that managed the stolen data.
According to the hackers, the Clinical Diagnostics Lab has violated agreements with Nova. Which appointment that is is not mentioned; It may be about involving the police in the data breach.
CountdownWith their threat, the criminals have placed a countdown clock: within eleven days they expect a large amount of money, otherwise the data will still go up the internet, they threaten.
RTL Nieuws reported on the basis of sources at Nova and Clinical Diagnostics that the Lab paid ransom after the hack. An amount is not known.
