“I would very much like to stay with HSV if it is possible,” said Adam Karabec at the end of last season and his loan from Sparta Prague. In the following weeks it was quiet about the continued employment of the 22-year-old Czech, the transfer claims of the Czech top club were too high. Now a solution seems to be in sight.

According to the “picture”, Karabec is facing an extension at Sparta. This is interesting for the HSV insofar as it was only valid until 2026 and made a loan impossible. The offensive midfielder will soon be binding to the club for another season. The talks about a new season in black and white blue were therefore intensified by the Bundesliga promoted.
Karabec had contributed three goals and seven templates in 31 missions on the way to return to the football upper house last season. He was able to increase his market value from 3 million to 4 million euros during the loan, but had to accept a minus of 1 million euros in the Juni update.
After the end of the season, the HSV decided not to pull the purchase option of EUR 4.2 million. “As a club, we have set ourselves a clear guideline that is important outside the coaching opinion,” said coach Merlin Polzin a few weeks ago. In Karabec, he sees a “fantastic person who works very well and hard. He is a footballer who can make the difference in the crucial moments.”
