On the A9 the right -hand lane is closed due to an accident at the Velsen junction. Traffic in the direction of Alkmaar must take into account more than an hour delay. Diemen also gets stuck in the direction of Diemen, with also an hour of delays.
On the A2 at the Holendrecht junction, the connecting road to the A9 towards Haarlem is closed due to storage work. That also causes delays there.
Volendam exit
Around Amsterdam it is also busy: on the A10, traffic stands still in several places. The longest traffic jam is at the Volendam exit, with an extra travel time of about fifteen minutes.
It is also on the N-roads. On the N232 towards Haarlem and the N208 towards Velsen, the delay is about fifteen minutes.
