A striking name in the basic setup of NAC was that of Roy Kortsmit. The goalkeeper was given confidence from coach Carl Hoefkens under the bar instead of Daniel Belica.

His return in the base became an annoying one, because Kortsmit was at the basis of the 1-1 after more than half an hour with blunder. Instead of shooting a ball away, he lost the ball to Ajax striker Don-Angelo Konadu and then had to make a violation. Kortsmit got yellow and escaped red and saw that the collected penalty was used by Kenneth Taylor.

The blunder came hard with the visitors, because a few minutes later it was already 2-1. This time it was Steven Berghuis who let the supporters in the Amsterdam Arena cheer.

Decision
