Official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova believes that contributors to Bloomberg and Bild newspapers “ready for anything”. So Maria Zakharova commented on Bild’s message that Russia intends to “annex Ukraine.” In turn, Bloomberg on Saturday night published the news that Russian troops invaded Ukraine.
As Maria Zakharova wrote on Telegram, “many times we have seen how Westerners spoil the Olympic Games. But the current approach to the projectile was invented by real perverts who are ready for anything.”
At the Russian embassy in Berlin, the Bild tabloid article, which was allegedly based on leaks from special services, was called “a strange mixture of speculation and rumors.”
Bloomberg later called the error technical and promised to investigate.
“A global information and political shambles of NATO desires,” Zakharova concluded.
Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov noted that after the erroneous publication, the term “fake news” can be replaced with “Bloomberg news”.
