The appeal of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky with a request to return to the civil servants who left the country after reports in the Western media about the threat of a Russian attack showed the true enemy of the country. Such an opinion expressed official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova in the Telegram channel.
“After the President of Ukraine asked civil servants, oligarchs and deputies who left the country due to fear of war and unwillingness to defend their homeland to return, it became clear that the enemy of this state is not Russia. The enemy of Ukraine is its elite,” Zakharova wrote.

In addition, the representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs pointed out that after the statement by Zelensky, who called the announcement of the date of the “invasion” intimidation, it became clear that “the friend of this state is not the United States.”
Earlier, on February 14, Ukrayinska Pravda reported that 23 deputies were outside Ukraine: 12 deputies from the Opposition Platform – For Life faction, five from the Servant of the People faction, two from the Holos faction, and four non-factional MPs.
