Young man who caused panic in Vives with weapon is interned
The weapon turned out to be false. The young man was probably in a psychosis due to cannabis use.
The man’s lawyer wanted to prevent internment so that his client can continue his current assistance process, but the judge now rules differently. The young man also went to Waregem and Avelgem with the weapon, only after a whole day of tumult were the police able to apprehend him.
