Amsterdam – The hype that arose a year ago around, among other things, the GameStop share, created the impression that new, often young investors, hardly know what they are doing and take a lot of risk. However, the vast majority are engaged in long-term wealth accumulation, partly to close an impending pension gap. As a result, they take even less risk than experienced investors. This is apparent from a large-scale study that Trade Republic has commissioned.
