Yeliz Çiçek becomes the new editor-in-chief of Vogue

Vogue Netherlands is busy working on a come back in the Netherlands. The editors today announce that they have found a new editor-in-chief: Yeliz Çiçek. Çiçek was editor-in-chief of LINDA.meiden.

Vogue will launch digitally in January 2022 and is expected to hit newsstands in February. Magazine maker Marie Nanette Schaepman announced in October that she would be relaunching Vogue after the magazine was killed in a reorganization at Hearst. Schaepman owns Bloom Publishing and becomes Vogue’s founding editor. She will team up with LINDA for the launch of Vogue. The editors of linda.nl are responsible for all online and social activities for VogueNL.

Schaepman on Instagram: “Today I can finally announce the new editor-in-chief of Vogue Nederland. She was our dream candidate. She is fun, positive, a multi-talent with a clear voice of her own and she belongs to the new generation of editors-in-chief. Here is Yeliz Cicek!”

Yeliz Çiçek (34) was the new editor-in-chief of LINDA.meiden from January 1, 2021. Before that, she was deputy editor-in-chief of Glamour. She also previously worked as a journalist for various titles, including Vogue. It is not yet known who will succeed Çiçek at LINDA.meiden.
