A demand indicator has appeared in the Yandex.Go application, which will show what affects the price of a taxi ride, RBC was told in the company’s press service.
The user will see an indicator (informer) after selecting the fare and route in the upper left corner of the main screen. Red color will mean a small number of free cars, difficult weather conditions and a bad situation on the road. If there are few orders in the client area and the aggregator has set a standard price for the trip, the application will show a green indicator.
Marks in the form of a down arrow (the price is lower than usual) and a lightning bolt (demand and price are higher) appeared near the ruble sign.
The company noted that the innovation will help users save money. “You will be able to follow the demand and call the car when the price of the trip is more profitable,” it noted.
