World champion Andersson extends Füchsen Berlin until 2025

Berlin (AP) – Handball Bundesliga team Füchse Berlin continues to work on the squad of the future. After the contracts with Mijajlo Marsenic and Dejan Milosavljev were extended to 2027 last week, the Berliners also tied Lasse Andersson for a longer term.

The Danish world champion will stay in the capital until 2025, as the foxes announced. The 27-year-old backcourt player Andersson came to Berlin from FC Barcelona at the beginning of last season.

Berlin had already tied national players Paul Drux until 2025 and Fabian Wiede until 2026 in the summer. In addition, with Mathias Gidsel (contract until 2025) and Max Darj (until 2024) two more world-class players are coming to the new season.
