Charlene Rubush answered the correct answer to the question “What are you doing?” in a recent episode of “The Wheel of Fortune.” She said, “I choose the right… word.” But because she paused before uttering the word “word,” host Pat Sajak decided the answer was not according to the rules. “It’s hard because you said all the right words,” said Sajak, “but as you know it has to be said continuously. I’m sorry, you did well, but we can’t give you the prize.”

A big disappointment for Rubush, because the big prize turned out to be an Audi Q3, worth about 50,000 euros.

Many viewers thought that was unjustified, and also expressed their dissatisfaction on social media. Many also turned their attention to car manufacturer Audi, which announced a few hours later that Rubush “was a winner in their eyes” and that she would still get the car. “It is, after all, the season of gifts,” Audi marketing director Tara Rush said in a response to CNN.
