Spicy discussion on a flight from Tampa Bay to Atlanta: A woman is upset because an elderly gentleman wouldn’t wear his mouth mask correctly. During the confrontation, she even spits in his face. As she reads him the Levites, however, her own copy hangs… dangling from her chin.
The reason for the fight is clear. “Put on your damn mouth mask!”, it sounds not very subtle from her mouth.
However, the targeted man was not impressed. He threatened to pour his drink over her head and repeatedly called her “Karen” (a pejorative term for an intolerable middle-aged woman who acts hysterical or bossy; ed.). He also pointed out that he was eating and drinking, so he didn’t need to wear any protection. “And you don’t wear your mask correctly yourself, bitch.”
“Now you are going to jail”
At that moment, the woman completely lost her mind. She slapped him and spat in his face. “Now you’re going to go to jail,” the older man replied.
After some scolding back and forth, the woman was eventually led away. A dozen officers were waiting for her when she landed. It is unknown whether she was actually arrested.
“Situations like this are very rare,” says Delta airline in a response. “A zero tolerance policy applies at airports and on our aircraft.”
