Honorary President Uli Hoeneß does not rule out new FC Bayern signings in the coming winter transfer period.

Our coach gets everything that is necessary,” said Hoeneß at a charity event. Event by the German record champions at Circus Roncalli.

Despite the rumors about differences that have recently become louder, the long-time Munich manager and club president praised coach Thomas Tuchel: “After initial difficulties, the coach in particular did a great job. To be so high up with a small squad, shows the quality of the coach.”

Hoeneß is said to have been annoyed by Tuchel’s statements. “Sport Bild” wrote about a “powder keg” on Säbener Strasse.

FC Bayern: Criticism from Uli Hoeneß of Thomas Tuchel

On the sidelines of the Bundesliga game at FSV Mainz 05 (3-1) last week, Tuchel emphasized on the “Sky” microphone that “everything was good” between him and Hoeneß. I’m not adding any fuel to the fire.

Hoeneß previously criticized Tuchel in an interview with RTL/ntv and sport.de. “I’m not making my own team look bad by saying we’re too thin, we’re this, we’re that. If you see what we have on the bench every weekend, only international players, then we don’t have a thin one squad,” said the 71-year-old.

Tuchel’s statements were “unwise” and a “fed up for the media, especially the tabloids,” were Hoeneß’ further accusations directed at the trainer.
