Biathlon: 11 athletes travel to Beijing
Eleven skiers got the starting places for Germany.
Alpine skiing: Rauchfuss benefits from subsequent nomination
Julian Rauchfuss can be happy about a decision by the FIS for the alpine ski men. After disputes and discussions, the association succeeded in allowing a total of four more athletes to go to Beijing for the alpine skiing competitions. Austria (2 additional starting places), France (1) and Germany (1) benefit. Thus, the DSV nominated Julian Rauchfuss and sent eight men and three women to Beijing.
