It appears that the perpetrators of the brutal armed robbery of a Wormerveers boy struck again shortly after their act. Fifteen minutes after a boy was forced to give up his fat bike at gunpoint and a ‘warning shot’, a second attack occurred in Assendelft – just a ten-minute bike ride away – and a young woman was robbed.
Two young men robbed a young woman (19) of her belongings on the Witte Ring in Assendelft last night around half past nine. This happened at gunpoint.
The victim was walking on the street last night when she was unexpectedly grabbed by two boys. They threatened her with a gun, after which several things were taken from her.
The two perpetrators then let her go and drove in different directions.
The same perpetrators?
The striking thing is that the robbery is very similar to the robbery in Wormerveer, only fifteen minutes earlier and only about three kilometers away. It is also striking that the two robberies happened almost the same: a threat was made with a firearm. In addition, the descriptions of the perpetrators also match.

The difference with the robbery earlier in the evening is that a third perpetrator was involved. The trio robbed a young boy of his fat bike at gunpoint. The teenager initially refused, after which the gun was shot into the air.
The police will investigate whether the same perpetrators are actually involved. When asked, the police call it ‘remarkable to say the least’ that the cases are largely similar and happened in close succession at such a short distance, but indicate that the investigation is still at the beginning. “We compare the issues, but we also have to look at this objectively.”
