Water museum in Arnhem temporarily closed due to … flooding | Inland

This is reported by regional media. The water poured into the museum grounds and reached the sills of the doors. The adjacent café, grand café ‘Aan de Beek’, did not keep it dry either.

The fire brigade has cleared surrounding wells so that the water can flow away. They also used a submersible pump to pump out water.

Visitors were temporarily unable to go to the museum and the cafe due to the flooding. It is not the first time that the museum has had to deal with flooding. The fire service has been called in several times.
