The start of the young players of VOC was still bad. Venlo was still 18-13 at the break. For the Amsterdam youngsters things went better in the second half. It turned the score (21-20) and finally took the NHV cup. It is the second cup win in a row for the club from Amsterdam. Although that was last year with the first team.
In total it is the seventh cup win for VOC, a record in Dutch women’s handball. Mike van de Laarse, chairman of the Topsportplatform at the NHV (Dutch Handball Association) already spoke out about VOC 2 for the final.
