Van Gucht is thus responding to the statement of virologist Marc Van Ranst (KU Leuven), who announced this morning that the current epidemic is heading towards something “close to flu”. Nevertheless, Van Gucht is optimistic about the future and believes that we will have “a beautiful summer”.
