Viktor & Rolf appoints new managing director

The Dutch fashion house Viktor & Rolf has a new management.

Matteo Franceschini has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the brand, reports various trade media, including WWD. Franceschini, who also shared the personnel on his Linkedin profile, reports directly to Ubaldo Minelli, the managing director of the Italian parent company OTB SpA.

Franceschini has been active at OTB as Group Licensing & Collaborations Director since October last year and Managing Director at Viktor & Rolf since December, according to his Linkedin profile. Before that he worked at Dsquared2 as Licenses & Commercial Director. He also worked for the Italian brand Corneliani.

At Viktor & Rolf he succeeds Andrea Collisei, who moved within the group from the OTB subsidiary Diesel to Viktor & Rolf in 2015. Collisei, who is also General Director at Jil Sander – also part of the fashion group – should focus more on the Hamburg-based brand in the future, reports WWD.

Viktor & Rolf has not yet responded to an inquiry from FashionUnited.de
