Wolfsburg (dpa) – Bundesliga soccer team VfL Wolfsburg has signed U21 national player Kilian Fischer from 1. FC Nuremberg.
The 21-year-old right-back signed a five-year contract with Lower Saxony. “Kilian has had a great and rapid development. He is highly talented, physically strong, has a lot of speed and a very professional attitude,” said sports director Marcel Schäfer.
Fischer only switched from Türkgücü Munich to Nuremberg in the 2nd Bundesliga last season. “The conditions in Wolfsburg are incredible for a young player. Here you can develop at a top level in a calm environment. And that’s exactly my goal,” said the defender.
