The administration of US President Joe Biden is awaiting an explanation from Russia about military exercises near the Ukrainian border. In a video published on the Internet on the official website of the department, Price says that Washington intends get from Moscow either an explanation about the maneuvers near the borders of Ukraine, or their termination. In this case, the military must return to their barracks, and heavy weapons to the storage areas.
Price added that progress in US-Russian security negotiations requires that they take place in an “atmosphere of de-escalation.”
