The US Senate has published a draft of a new package of sanctions against the state debt of Russia, the banking sector and some officials.
Among individuals, restrictions may include, in particular, President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
Also, in the event of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the US President is invited to introduce restrictions against at least three organizations from the following list: Sberbank, VTB, Gazprombank, VEB, RDIF, MKB, Alfa-Bank, Rosselkhozbank, Otkrytie, Promsvyazbank, Sovcombank, Transcapitalbank.
The proposed measures are related to the situation around Ukraine.
