The European Parliament will conduct an investigation into statements by Tom Vandendriessche (Vlaams Belang) about “organized repopulation”. The Mediahuis newspapers report this. Vandendriessche also came under fire last year after he dropped the word “repopulation” in a migration debate. Vlaams Belang describes the investigation as a “direct attack on democracy”.
